What to expect
All appointments being with an introduction, followed by an investigation to identify the root cause and a discussion with you about treatment and a shared management plan.
During your appointment the doctor will ask you specific questions to help with your diagnosis and may carry out a physical examination. We may recommend different tests including blood tests , scans or X-rays to help with your diagnosis.
Our consultations are conducted in a confidential relaxing setting. The doctor will enable patients to discuss any health-related worries confidentially.

What type of appointment should I book?
We offer Face to face appointments, Video or phone appointments, and home visits. You should choose the type of appointment that’s most appropriate for your symptoms and preferences.
If you’re likely to need a physical examination, you should book a face to face appointment or home visit appointment.
We also offer a choice of appointment lengths in 20 minute, 30 minute, or 45 minute increments. You can choose the appointment length you feel you need. If you have complex or multiple needs, a longer appointment may be more suitable.
Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
No, you do not need a referral to book an appointment with our private GP. Simply contact our clinic to schedule a consultation at a time that suits you.

Can you refer for scans and tests I need?
Absolutely. If our GP identifies a need for further investigation or specialist treatment, we can provide you with a referral to a trusted specialist. We’ll support you through the process to ensure you receive the best possible care.
Can you prescribe medication during the appointment?
Yes, our private GPs are qualified to prescribe medication. If needed, you will receive a private prescription that you can fill at any pharmacy. Please note that private prescriptions are not covered by the NHS and will incur an additional cost.
Will you tell my NHS GP about our appointment?
Only if you want to. We will ask if you’re happy for us to write to your NHS GP for your consultation details to be placed onto your NHS health record. However, you can request that we keep your consultation private.
